Announced at CES 2024 and available now, the latest generation flagship earbuds Momentum True Wireless 4 are an important product for Sennheiser. Packed with over a dozen upgrades and future-facing technologies such as Snapdragon Sound Technology with Qualcomm aptX Lossless Technology and an ultra-low-latency mode, the Momentum True Wireless 4 jump straight to the top five best TWS earbuds in the market for 2024. Offering high-performance audio now over Classic Bluetooth, Sennheiser promises Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast support for the future.

During its Snapdragon Summit event Qualcomm unveiled the latest S7 and S7 Pro Gen1 Sound platforms, which will soon power a new generation of advanced audio products. The new platforms offer five times the compute power, three times the DSP processing power, and almost 100 times on-device AI processing power compared to the previous generation. A real differentiator is the use of micro-power Wi-Fi to extend wireless audio range and support for up to 192kHz lossless music quality in the S7 Pro.

Qualcomm Technologies International unveiled an addition to the Qualcomm S3 Gen 2 Sound platform portfolio. This newly enhanced solution is optimized for gaming and ready for use in dongles and adapters. It combines Snapdragon Sound and LE Audio to deliver ultra-low latency of less than 20ms for lag-free wireless audio with voice back-channel for in-game chat. When delivering game audio only, the latency is further reduced.

At Mobile World Congress 2022 in Barcelona, Qualcomm announced new options for brands and developers to offer the latest technologies in wireless audio. Qualcomm announced the latest S5 and S3 Sound Platforms with support for new Snapdragon Sound experiences, featuring lossless CD-quality streaming over Bluetooth, stereo recording, ultra-low latency sound with in-game chat, and adaptive active noise cancellation. Both new platforms already offer support for Bluetooth LE Audio.

Qualcomm Technologies International, unveiled the Qualcomm QCC305x SoCs, designed specifically to help brands differentiate across a range of tiers in the very fast-moving truly wireless earbud category. The new SoCs are designed to meet demand for advanced wireless audio use cases, and enable end-to-end support for the new Bluetooth LE Audio standard. The QCC305x series also adds support for ultra-low-power digital ANC technology, Qualcomm Adaptive ANC, Qualcomm TrueWireless Mirroring, and wake word activated voice assistants.
