USound and Minami Sign Partnership to Facilitate Collaboration with Top-Tier Brands

USound, the MEMS speakers pioneer from Austria, announced a partnership with Minami Acoustics Limited, the renowned Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) that helps support some of the most recognizable global brands in headphones, earphones, headsets, and hearing aids. Together, the two companies will further facilitate the adoption of USound’s patented MEMS speaker technology by leading brands.

Creative Technology is the latest manufacturer to announce a strategic partnership with xMEMS Labs, confirming that it will be incorporating xMEMS' micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS) solid-state speaker technology into Creative's True Wireless Stereo (TWS) products. With superior audio reproduction and consistency referenced as the main reasons for adoption, Creative says the integration of xMEMS's compact MEMS drivers will enable lighter, sleeker, and more ergonomic TWS earbuds that provide better wearability for users on the move.

Following the announcement of the world's first true MEMS microspeaker in July 2020, xMEMS Labs now announced general availability of three solutions for immediate integration into next-generation true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones, in-ear-monitors (IEMs), hearing aids, and other emerging personal audio designs.
