Synaptics Introduces World's First AI SoC Optimized for Unified Communication and Collaboration Products

Synaptics announced the availability of the DVF120, a power-efficient and cost-optimized system on chip (SoC) that is optimized for advanced Unified Communication and Collaboration (UC&C) products, and leverages the company's experience to integrate all major features required for such applications. The SoC extends its range of compute engines with a field-proven Linux and Android SDK, enterprise-grade security, and native support of popular collaboration platforms.

Embedded wireless audio and voice solutions provider, Libre Wireless Technologies announced that the RIVA Concert and RIVA Stadium wireless audio speakers are re-launching in a 2.0 version that now includes all the latest features offered in Amazon Alexa Built-In services with a special focus on Amazon’s new Multiroom Music (“MRM”) capabilities. RIVA launched the Amazon "voice-enabled" speakers in 2018, already working with Libre Wireless, and superseding all previous models launched by RIVA Audio until 2017.

Leading embedded wireless voice/AI solutions provider Libre Wireless Technologies announced that its MAVID (Multiprotocol, Audio, Voice, IoT Device) super compact, ultra-low power mic-to-cloud platform and software SDK, now supports the Alexa Voice Service (AVS) built-in. The breakthrough platform incorporates a complete hardware and software solution for embedded voice, IoT, audio and wireless connectivity, and now features integrated AVS.

Harman Kardon launched their Citation range of multiroom and multi-channel speakers at IFA 2018, in Berlin. All products are voice activated, featuring a Google Assistant integration and Chromecast built-in developed with StreamSDK software from StreamUnlimited. The collaboration with the Austrian wireless audio development platform specialists allowed Harman to show nine different smart products at the European consumer electronics show in a short period of time.
