ReadSpeaker VoiceLab Powers Sonos Voice Control Custom Voice

ReadSpeaker, the Boston-based independent digital voice specialist, announced that Sonos has selected the ReadSpeaker VoiceLab to create the custom voice for Sonos Voice Control, the brand’s voice assistant that was just recently announced and will be available in June 2022. Sonos selected VoiceLab, ReadSpeaker’s custom voice production unit because of the company’s proven experience and expertise in state-of-the-art, AI-driven text-to-speech.

SoundHound and Qualcomm announced a multi-year, joint agreement that will give app developers and device manufacturers access to an easy-to-deploy voice artificial intelligence (AI) solution running on Snapdragon platforms. The integration consists of SoundHound's automatic speech recognition, natural language understanding, and text-to-speech conversion software with select Snapdragon platforms from Qualcomm.
