Teradyne Supports Syntiant's Successful Edge AI Strategy

Teradyne, a leading supplier of automated test solutions, announced that the company’s UltraFLEX test platform has enabled Syntiant to successfully ship more than 10 millions of its microwatt-power, deep learning Neural Decision Processors (NPDs) to customers worldwide. The Teradyne UltraFLEX test solution is also currently supporting the qualification and production ramp of the latest Syntiant NDP120 and Syntiant NDP121 Neural Decision Processors.

Voice AI developer SoundHound confirmed the integration of its Houndify Voice AI platform into the all-new 2021 Elantra and Elantra Hybrid models from the Korean manufacturer, now available for sale in North America. Hyundai's new Dynamic Voice Recognition System is powered by Houndify's Speech-to-Meaning and Deep Meaning Understanding technologies, providing drivers with voice access to cloud-based information and services hands-free.

SoundHound unveiled its large vocabulary, hybrid voice and natural language understanding interface for in-vehicle infotainment systems at the NVidia GPU Technology Conference (GTC) 2019.
