SoundHound's Houndify Voice AI Powers Dynamic Voice Recognition System in 2021 Hyundai Elantra and Elantra Hybrid

Voice AI developer SoundHound confirmed the integration of its Houndify Voice AI platform into the all-new 2021 Elantra and Elantra Hybrid models from the Korean manufacturer, now available for sale in North America. Hyundai's new Dynamic Voice Recognition System is powered by Houndify's Speech-to-Meaning and Deep Meaning Understanding technologies, providing drivers with voice access to cloud-based information and services hands-free.

SoundHound unveiled its large vocabulary, hybrid voice and natural language understanding interface for in-vehicle infotainment systems at the NVidia GPU Technology Conference (GTC) 2019. Continuing to expand its technology for automotive applications, the company promoted a live demo of its Houndify Voice AI Platform running on NVidia's Drive IX Intelligent Experience Platform, the first time the technology has been shown to the public.

SoundHound Inc., the voice-enabled AI and conversational intelligence technology company, announced a strategic partnership with Honda Motor to accelerate the development of a voice-enabled AI assistant. Using SoundHound's Houndify Voice AI Platform, the AI Assistant will support highly sophisticated and natural interactions with speed and accuracy, leveraging its proprietary Speech-to-Meaning and Deep Meaning Understanding technologies, and intelligence in voice recognition and understanding.
