Dynaudio and Ole Wolff Join Sound Hub Denmark Initiative

Sound Hub Denmark is a unique international business initiative for the audio industry, promoting technology and innovation. Founded as a growth hub for startups and business acceleration, in a coworking environment with access to excellent sound, craft and test facilities right at the hearth of the Danish Sound Cluster, the project continues to expand with more key Danish audio companies joining the project. Two of the more recent names include Dynaudio and Ole Wolff Electronics A/S.

Harman is one of the partners in the Sound Hub Denmark project, looking to enhance early-stage innovation through talent and idea scouting in a sound-focused environment. As an industry partner, Harman adds to the unique opportunities for companies joining Sound Hub Denmark. In fact, Harman has part of its operations precisely in Struer, Denmark, following the acquisition of the Bang & Olufsen Automotive division years ago. Located just around the corner, Harman wants to be part of the acoustic ecosystem in Denmark.

AVAtronics SA is developing a patented, True Wideband Active Noise Cancellation technology. The company is headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, with a subsidiary based in Sound Hub Denmark, where it has access to world-class acoustic test facilities and audio experts. Being one of the first international start-ups selected for the SoundTech Accelerator Program, one of the first to establish a Danish limited liability (ApS) company, and one of the first to make use of the Sound Hub sound labs, AVAtronics is now also looking to hire employees in Denmark.

GRAS Sound & Vibration announced its partnership with Sound Hub Denmark. The audio test and measurement company grabbed the opportunity to join a world-class sound and acoustics growth hub in Struer, in the North of Denmark, together with other players such us Bang & Olufsen, GN Audio (Jabra) and Harman Lifestyle, among others. Sound Hub Denmark is located in an original red stone factory building with architecture dating back to 1946, and the former location of the Bang & Olufsen R&D department until 2018.
