Tube Amp Doctor Announces New EL34-STR REDBASE Premium Selected Tubes

Following on the introduction earlier in 2021 of the 6L6GCM-STR, the first model from an all-new high quality premium tube series named REDBASE from Tube Amp Doctor (TAD), the German company now announced the new TAD EL34-STR REDBASE, which can be used for any EL-34 application in guitar amplifiers and also hifi tube designs instead of 6CA7 and KT77 tubes. All tubes in TAD’s REDBASE family are manufactured on a new exclusive production facility.

Focal Naim America announced it will be the North America distributor of A.bsolument, a new brand of one-of-a-kind radios. Created in France in 2015, A.bsolument was the very first brand in the world to provide a modernization of vintage radios and is now the leader in this business. The company's founder, Arthur Verne, renovated radios from the 1930’s to the 80’s, integrating Bluetooth as well as updated amplifiers and Focal drivers, giving modern technology a retro look.

Arturia launched an exciting new range of software plug-ins leveraging the company's expertise in analog circuit emulation. The first of two new packages includes recreations of Rupert Neve’s classic solid-state 1973 Preamp, Trident Studio’s A Range console preamps, and a classic Telefunken V76. The filters package includes modeled circuits from Bob Moog, Tom Oberheim’s Matrix-12 and the famous SEM-filter. All software recreations include valuable tools and add-ons.
