Roon Labs Previews New Roon 1.8 Unified Music Experience

Roon Labs is teasing existing and potential new users with its upcoming Roon 1.8 software, the front-end for its unique and powerful music aggregation platform. Designed from early stages to transform the digital music ecosystem, Roon always focused on the interface of its software and the almost tactile experience of selecting, discovering and enjoying music. Now, Roon is ready to introduce a new look and feel, that refines the user experience, improves search, and much more.

The new TDAI-1120 was one of the highlights at the Lyngdorf Audio booth at ISE 2020. The newest member of the TDAI collection, this streaming integrated amplifier is small enough to be easily placed anywhere in the home, while its vast feature set offers a great variety of streaming options. The Lyngdorf TDAI-1120 combines the brand’s latest digital amplification technology and patented RoomPerfect room correction with user-friendly features.

The latest trend on digital audio players (DAPs) is now called SMP's, for streaming music players, or compact devices directly connected to specific streaming services, allowing users to listen to their music without having to tie up a smartphone, and not depend upon an Internet connection. After successfully launching its Mighty range of streaming music players with Spotify support, California-based Mighty Audio now announced the launch of Amazon Music as an additional option.
