Clint Launches Special Edition FREYA Bluetooth Speaker

The FREYA Special Edition Copper Speaker is the latest addition to the Clint Asgard FREYA range, designed by Danish designer Phillip Bodum. The Special Edition Bluetooth speaker has an exclusive dark coal black color, combined with elegant natural copper details, and as an extra feature the designers signature is on the backside of the speaker. The exclusive edition also supports Bluetooth Stereo Pairing, allowing wireless stereo from two Clint FREYA speakers.

Bose launched the new SoundLink Revolve and SoundLink Revolve+ which could very well be an Amazon Echo killer, except that Bose is not pitching them like that, even though they feature voice-prompts and work with Siri and Google Assistant. Instead, Bose calls it "its best Bluetooth speakers ever", accentuating its true omni-directional performance, and an entirely new acoustic design from a seamless aluminum cabinet designed to be portable.

Linkplay Technology, a WiFi audio solution provider, and one of the first audio platforms approved for integration with Alexa Voice Service (AVS), hosted 300 attendees from global speaker brands, OEMs and ODMs for an Amazon Alexa technology summit. The one day conference held in Shenzhen, China provided an opportunity to educate customers interested in designing and building Powered by Linkplay products with AVS.
