Swedish digital audio processing pioneer Dirac and Sudio, a designer and manufacturer of premium headphones and speakers, also from Sweden, announced that the two companies are collaborating to integrate Dirac’s patented sound optimization and spatial audio technology into next-generation Sudio true wireless earbuds. Sony Goes Spatial With New SRS-RA5000 and SRS-RA3000 Wireless Home Speakers

"Change the Way You Listen to Music" is Sony's pitch for CES 2021, reinforcing the company's past research efforts in spatial audio and specifically its 360 Reality Audio and Immersive Audio Enhancement technologies. The concept was so far implemented in binaural mode with headphones, but Sony demonstrated some concepts with speakers able to generate "ambient room-filling sound" since CES 2019. With users spending more time at home, Sony decided it was time to launch the new 360 Reality Audio wireless speakers, model SRS-RA5000 and SRS-RA3000.

CEVA introduced its 2nd generation SensPro DSP family, a hub for AI and DSP processing workloads associated with a wide range of sensors including camera, Radar, LiDAR, Time-of-Flight, microphones and inertial measurement units (IMUs). The new, lower power, SensPro2 DSPs deliver up to 10X performance improvement versus CEVA-BX2 DSP for AI networks used for voice assistants, natural language processing and spatial audio.
