Merging Technologies Returns to IBC 2022 to Show Anubis Workflow Enhancements

Merging Technologies returned to IBC after an enforced three year gap which has seen many changes in products and a change of ownership for the company. Despite the new integration with Neumann.Berlin, Merging will still have its own space at this IBC - stand 8.F96. The company will be there to showcase the latest options for Anubis. This powerful desktop platform is now gaining an updated Commentary Unit Mission, and will soon feature SoundID Reference multichannel addition for Dolby Atmos and immersive monitor calibration.

1MORE officially announced the launch of their latest true wireless earbuds, the ComfoBuds Mini. Weighing no more than 3.7g each and sized at just 17x13mm, these mini earbuds are packed with all the key features expected in modern day true wireless earbuds, including powerful ANC and Sonarworks' SoundID personalization. The design shows a sensible approach by 1MORE, differentiating with a combination of attractive features, convenience and an original form-factor for totally wireless earbuds.

Grell Audio, the company founded by German headphone engineer Axel Grell, announced its first product. The Grell TWS/1 (199.99 USD/EUR) is an understated design using dynamic drivers, implemented over a Qualcomm Bluetooth 5.2 platform. In terms of unique features, the TWS/1 offers a frequency-selective ANC function, filtered by a patent-pending Noise Annoyance Reduction (NAR) psycho-acoustic model, bundled with Sonarworks' SoundID for calibration and personalization.

Consumer audio company 1More joined forces with the team at Sonarworks to include SoundID sound personalization software in the company's latest $79 ColorBuds 2 true wireless earbuds with ANC. The announcement sees SoundID personalized sound becoming accessible in the most affordable TWS earbuds ever, enhanced by the built-in QuietMax hybrid noise cancelling design, also with support for aptX Adaptive Bluetooth.

SoundID, the headphone correction software that combines target response calibration, personal hearing profiles and sound preferences, now supports 406 headphones with the addition of 20 new models. Originally launched by Sonarworks at CES 2020, SoundID allows consumers to maximize their listening experience with personalized sound on their favorite headphones, using a new simplified approach that combines software and machine learning to deliver personalized audio, regardless of device.
