Following previously failed attempts to have the company in the hands of hired industry executives, company founder and chairman Harro Heinz decided to keep the business in the family and appoint Ralph Heinz as the new Chief Technical Officer and Monika Heinz Smetona as Chief Operating Officer. Other simultaneously announced appointments are intended to reinforce the company structure.
