HEAD acoustics Announces ArtemiS Suite Release 14 with HoloMetrix AR Interface

HEAD acoustics announced the launch of its Artemis Suite Release 14 software for sound and vibration analysis. Among the multiple improvements, new features and user interface refinements, the new software introduces a new Augmented Reality (AR) interface, developed in cooperation with HoloMetrix, that makes tasks such as the creation of sound intensity maps for fast source localization much easier, faster, and more reliable.

HEAD acoustics announced a new interesting integration of an Augmented Reality (AR) solution from German startup HoloMetrix to enable highly efficient sound power and sound intensity measurements. The integration with HEAD acoustics Artemis SUITE allows the creation of sound intensity maps for fast source localization, with assistance functions that guide the user through the measurements and offer automatic quality checks with acoustic or visual feedback.

Klippel released a major software update to its Klippel Analyzer System. The new dB-Lab Version 212 and QC 7 updates now add shared sensor management, support for the new Multi-Scanning Workbench hardware and three further modules (LSIM, MTON, RMA). The Klippel Multi-Scanning Workbench supports near-field holographic soundfield scanning measurements in a much smaller form factor, while the new modules add linear signal modeling and simulation and multi-tone measurements, dedicated to speaker and enclosure design.

Announced earlier in 2020, Klippel now confirmed availability of its new SCN Near-Field Add On (SCN-NF), a new solution that accurately enables all the most relevant transducer measurements using a single hardware setup in a non-anechoic room. This new powerful addition to the Klippel Scanning Vibrometer is a smart alternative to using an anechoic chamber, and the fastest way to get full directivity holographic measurements, extrapolate SPL to any point in 3D half-space and obtain balloon, contour, polar and sound power plots.

Providing reports that look professional and contain detailed relevant information is a must for any professional noise and acoustic consultant. The powerful Data Explorer Software from NTi Audio provides such reports using data acquired directly from the XL2 Sound Level Meter. The Sound Power Reporter PC software now completes the essential tools needed for sound power measurements by evaluating and reporting on the measured data recorded with the XL2.
