Revox Acquires Horch House Analog Master Tape Business

The Revox Group is again manufacturing an improved version of the famous Revox B77 reel-to-reel analog recorder. And to expand the company's activities, Revox partnered with Horch House and its founder, Volker Lange, that created a successful analog master tape business, and already sells a significant catalog of music available on reels copied directly from masters. Expanding on those existing synergies and know-how, Revox now announced an acquisition and operational merger with Horch House.

A German company called Revox Klangwerk is now manufacturing reel to reel machines again, and is selling improved versions of the famous Revox B77 reel-to-reel analog recorder. Given the demand, and following a limited reissue B77 MK II in 2023, the company is now introducing the new Revox B77 MK III tape recorder, which the company says was redesigned and improved with significant new features, and using updated electronics, optimized with components available today. They are even selling Master Tapes to pair with this reissue.

High End 2024. Digital music players, streaming players, music streamers. Music sources in audio shows are changing. The industry is embracing music streaming services. At AXPONA 2024 and at the High End 2024, the prevalent music source in all demos and listening rooms are the latest class of network music streamers and digital audio players.
