Powersoft to Launch LiteMod 4HC and MiniMod 4 Amplifier Modules at Prolight+Sound 2017

In addition to its touring and multi-channel process controlled amplifiers, Powersoft has built an excellent reputation in the OEM market, providing the engines for many market-leading active loudspeaker systems and rack amplifiers with its range of power modules. This has now been extended with two new flexible, compact and highly specified modules, which will receive their launch at this year’s Prolight+Sound Show in Frankfurt (April 4-7).

A special collaboration between Astro Spatial Audio (ASA) and Adamson Systems Engineering will allow visitors to experience true object-based 3D audio for live entertainment at Prolight+Sound 2017 (Frankfurt, Germany - April 4-7). Taking place in Hall 3.1, on booth H14, the two companies will combine their market-leading technologies to host a series of demonstrations using Adamson Point 8 enclosures driven by ASA’s recently launched SARA II Premium Rendering Engine.

Prolight+Sound Frankfurt returns this year with a reinforced proposition on the model adopted in the previous year, while introducing several key changes on the outdoor demonstrations and coordination with the concurrent Musikmesse 2017, now overlapping during the last three days. Prolight+Sound 2017 will introduce visitors to the Silent-Stage concept in Hall 4.1.

Following criticism from exhibitors, the press and visitors regarding mixed results in the 2016 editions of the Prolight+Sound and Musikmesse shows, Messe Frankfurt announced a new organizational structure for optimum interlinkage of the two shows. Michael Biwer, previously responsible for Prolight+Sound, is now responsible for key account management and the strategic planning of both events, which will return to a more coordinate model in 2017.
