Audinate and StreamUnlimited Form Partnership to Bring Dante Embedded Platform to StreamSDK

StreamUnlimited is working with Audinate to bring Dante Embedded Platform (DEP) into the StreamSDK feature portfolio. With this new software solution, StreamUnlimited will be able to support the development of Dante enabled products without the need for any additional hardware. A very attractive proposition for audio networking compatibility with thousands of existing Dante-enabled products, providing also integrators with an extensible, and cost-effective audio system.

Audinate, the developer of the industry-leading Dante AoIP networking technology, and Analog Devices have collaborated to introduce the availability of Dante Embedded Platform for ADI’s SHARC audio digital signal processors. This means that manufacturers using SHARC DSPs are now able to benefit from Dante audio-over-IP as on-chip software and a streamlined product development cycle.

Supporting the AV industry’s shift from purpose-built hardware to software-based solutions running on standardized hardware, Audinate announced two new software-based Dante networking products. Dante Embedded Platform enables manufacturers to add full Dante functionality in software running on Linux for x86 and ARM processors. The Dante Application Library allows software developers to seamlessly integrate Dante functionality directly into their PC & Mac applications. Early confirmed adopters include QSC, Zoom, and Analog Devices.
