Dirac and Dolby Join Forces to Demonstrate High Quality Immersive Automotive Audio Experiences

Swedish digital audio processing pioneer Dirac and Dolby, the leading provider of immersive entertainment technology and experiences, announced a collaboration to demonstrate a high-quality immersive automotive audio experience. The all-electric NIO ET 7, which will enter the European market in 2022, will be one of the first vehicles to feature Dirac audio optimization algorithms and a Dolby Atmos audio system.

DSP Concepts Launches TWS Toolkit Powered by Audio Weaver

DSP Concepts announced the availability of a new toolkit for True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds powered by its Audio Weaver development platform. The toolkit features a reference design optimized to run on the Cadence Tensilica HiFi 5 DSP in partnership with Airoha, a MediaTek subsidiary and manufacturer of low-power TWS Systems on Chip (SoCs). The development kit also includes a reference design with a fully operational earbud prototype designed by Knowles.

The new Jabra Enhance Plus are described as true wireless earbuds designed to bring hearing enhancement for clearer conversations, as well as music and calls in a state-of-the-art miniaturized design. They look like regular TWS earbuds, but are in fact OTC-class self-fitting hearing aids.

The Space Hub was designed for low latency processing of up to 128 objects x 128 output channels, using the 3D panning algorithms selectable per object within its Space software.
