Dayton Audio Introduces New Line of Commercial Pendant Speakers

Following a long-standing tradition of designing high-quality speakers at reasonable prices, Dayton Audio's new commercial pendants are designed to offer a great sound for both indoor and outdoor use. The pendant line offers both 4" (WP4BT) and 6.5" (WP65BT) models to fit the needs of a variety of installs, constructed with IP66 weather resistant ABS plastic, and using a coaxial design that provides a balanced, natural response, supporting ceiling, wall mounts, or landscape applications.

Electro-Voice has introduced three new additions to its versatile EVID family of commercial loudspeaker solutions. The EVID range now includes two ceiling models and one pendant model - the C4.2LP (4” low-profile ceiling), C6.2 (6.5” ceiling) and P6.2 (6.5” pendant) - all acoustically and aesthetically matched with existing EVID models, combining unique design features for easy installation and maintenance.

Since Canadian company Revolution Acoustics introduced its unique transducer, the Revolution Acoustics SSP6 actuator, which transforms nearly any panel structure into an audio speaker, the company has been expanding its ecosystem in order to deliver specific solutions for different market segments. At InfoComm 2018, Revolution Acoustics announced the Pendant360 speaker, the Ubiqui-T360 ceiling tile, and the new RevNet 2140 Series of installation amplifiers.

First unveiled at InfoComm 2018, the new SoundNut range, a new series of stylish, high-powered pendant loudspeakers for installation applications from Spanish manufacturer Work Pro Audio, is now available and represents an innovative approach to speaker design from the Valencia-based company. The SoundNut SN8 is the first product in the range, a two-way 400W coaxial pendant speaker with an 8-inch bass driver.

An industry first, SoundTube added three pendant speakers to its Dante-enabled line of installed speaker products. The IPD-RS62-EZ and IPD-RS82-EZ use SoundTube’s BroadBeam Ring high-frequency dispersion technology for clear, understandable messaging and music over a wide area, even off-axis from the speakers. The high-power IPD-HP82-EZ uses a BroadBeam HP compression driver with waveguide for use in rooms with extra high ceilings.

Two new models in the QSC installed loudspeaker portfolio will debut at InfoComm 2016 show, June 8-10. The new AcousticDesign Series Pendant Loudspeakers will be demonstrated at the show together with QSC’s new Q-SYS USB-to-AV Bridging solution, now featuring PTZ-IP Cameras and peripherals for corporate AV applications. The Costa Mesa company will also introduce two new SPA Series amplifiers suited for meeting room applications.
