Nuvo Introduces New Family of Compact 8-Inch Passive Subwoofers and Matching Amplifiers

Legrand introduced a new family of Nuvo 8-inch in-ceiling and in-wall passive subwoofers, together with matching Class D amplifiers. Optimized for small, medium, and large home theaters and immersive audio installations, the three compact single and dual subwoofers deliver a powerful, low-frequency impact, while the wall- and rack-mount amplifiers are packed with convenience features for maximum versatility.

Legrand, the global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures, introduced the Nuvo P600 Player, the first model in the Player Portfolio whole home audio line designed specifically for the DIN rail mounting system, heavily adopted throughout Europe and the rest of the EMEA regions. The new player, which is compatible with other amplifiers in Legrand’s expanding ecosystem of Nuvo streaming players, supplies up to 40 watts of power to a single zone.

French company Legrand, a world leader in electrical and digital building infrastructure solutions, announced the acquisition of US group Milestone AV Technologies for $950m. Milestone is the group that owns well-established Audio Video (AV) infrastructure brands, including Chief mounts and racks, Da-Lite screens, Projecta screens, Sanus AV mounts and furniture, and Vaddio conference and PTZ cameras.

Global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures, Legrand has announced the integration of KNX, the worldwide communications protocol for smart home devices, into its Nuvo Player Portfolio whole home audio system products via a free and automatic firmware update. With KNX implementation, owners of these systems will be able to control them using the same technology platform that more than 400 manufacturers build upon.
