KEF Introduces New THX Certified Home Audio Architectural Speakers

As immersive audio continues to gain popularity in home cinema applications, more home owners want to update or create custom home theaters with high-impact in-wall speakers. The latest additions to KEF's Extreme Home Theatre range - the Ci5160RLM-THX and Ci3160RLM-THX - are in-wall architectural speakers that deliver sound with all the detail and depth required by immersive audio content, providing a new emotional level of entertainment when watching movies, playing games, and listening to music.

Following the success of the KEF in-car audio system for Lotus, the two iconic British brands teamed up again to introduce a collection of KEF x Lotus products for the home. The first installment is the LS60 Wireless Lotus Edition, a floor standing high-fidelity system available in Lotus' British Racing Green. This custom version of the existing LS60 Wireless system combines superlative acoustic performance in a slim, distinctive floorstanding design.

In an effort to elevate home theater entertainment, British home audio innovator KEF has added the new Ci5160REFM-THX and the Ci3160REFM-THX in-wall speakers to its architectural speaker range. The Ci5160REFM-THX is KEF's first THX Certified Dominus speaker, while the Ci3160REFM-THX is THX Certified Ultra for high-impact cinema sound. Both models benefit from KEF's latest speaker innovations introduced in its flagship products, including Uni-Q drivers and Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT).

KEF launched its latest R Series with a Metamaterial absorber on the tweeter. The same groundbreaking Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT) technology first used in the LS50 Meta speakers, is now expanded in the updated R Series, together with a 12th generation Uni-Q driver, and a flexible decoupling chassis that prevents unwanted vibrations for better clarity. The seven-model range is available in stereo or home theater setups, in a choice of three stunning finishes.

Capitalizing on successful research and significant improvements demonstrated by the KEF LS50 Meta speakers, the British hifi brand has officially launched the latest updates to their high-end loudspeaker offerings – Blade and The Reference. The two ranges have been updated with KEF’s latest acoustic innovations, including a new, high-end 12th Generation Uni-Q with Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT). The Blade Meta and Reference Meta loudspeakers are now available.
