Dragoslav Colich Receives Innovation Award From Los Angeles & Orange County Audio Society

Audeze Co-Founder and CTO, Dragoslav Colich, has received the 2021 George and Carolyn Counnas Innovation Award from the Los Angeles & Orange County Audio Society for his life’s work and achievements. The award was presented Sunday, December 5, at the Society's annual gala in Los Angeles. Dragoslav Colich was recognized by his extraordinary life’s work with planar magnetic transducers and his overall contributions to the audio industry.

The Los Angeles & Orange County Audio Society and Marine Presson have confirmed a new location for the second edition of the Los Angeles Audio Show (LAAS). The West Coast event will move to the Hilton Irvine, the one just close to John Wayne Airport, Orange County (SNA), and will take place June 8 to 10, Friday to Sunday, as the tradition of consumer show dictates. With this second edition, LAAS should consolidate its position replacing the former T.H.E. Show.

MarkAudio-SOTA is to premiere the new single-driver, full-spectrum, Cesti MB speaker, in addition to demonstrating their well-regarded Cesti B, Cesti T and Viotti One loudspeakers at the LA Audio Show June 2-4th (Room 408.) The showcase is the US market launch celebration of the company's new Cesti MB monitor speakers, offering the rich midrange that is typical of a wide-range, single speaker design, plus the high-impact dynamics typical of multi-way speakers.

The LAAS – Los Angeles Audio Show – is a new high-end audio and home theater show debuting in June 2017 and every weekend each year following Memorial Day. The Los Angeles Audio Show is presented in collaboration with the Los Angeles and Orange County Audio Society at the Sheraton Gateway across from the Los Angeles International Airport with complimentary shuttle service. The Los Angeles Audio Show is funded and managed by The Orion Group, a private investment firm.
