ICEpower is strengthening its pro audio lineup of amplifier modules with two new members. The ICEpower 2000AS HV (High-Voltage) is a fully integrated audio power amplifier module including a universal mains power supply with PFC as well as ErP and Energy Star compliant standby. The new amplifier module will be available with one amplifier channel of 2000W (2000AS1 HV) and two amplifier channels of 2000W (2000AS2 HV). According to the Danish company, the new 2000AS HV amplifier module builds on the legacies of the existing 700AS and 1200AS modules, as a power solution targeted for live sound experiences.

Test Bench: The 10NW76 Pro Sound High SPL 10” Driver from B&C Speakers

The driver on this Test Bench is from B&C Speakers and clearly designed for professional audio. The 10NW76 was designed for uses in line arrays, small two-way monitors, and as a subwoofer, or as a midbass driver in multiway systems. It uses a proprietary 12-spoke (six double spokes) cast-aluminum frame with a series of cooling vents that allow air to move past the voice coil and across the front side of the neodymium motor assembly. That didn't stop Meyer Sound to stick to the original plan and introduce Panther, a new line array system that sets a new industry benchmark for a compact, lightweight, powerful, and energy-efficient sound reinforcement solution. Meyer Sound says Panther was engineered to meet rapidly evolving demands for large-scale touring and installed systems.
