Lewitt Shipping New MTP W950 True Condenser Handheld Microphone

Announced in 2022 and scheduled to be launched before the end of 2022, Lewitt's new flagship modular handheld microphone featuring a 1-inch true condenser capsule is finally shipping. Able to reject 90% of incoming sound from the rear, throughout the whole frequency range, the W950 detachable capsule can be switched from cardioid to supercardioid and is compatible with industry-standard wireless systems.

Elgato, the hardware and software brand for content creators announced the launch of Wave DX, a premium XLR microphone using proven dynamic capsule technology designed in close cooperation with Austrian microphone manufacturer Lewitt Audio. Many years in the making, the project is meant as the ultimate tool for recording professionals. Now, even without the opportunity to present it at the NAMM Show 2022, the Austrian microphone innovator officially launched its new LCT 1040 microphone system that lets users adapt sound to any vocalist, instrument or sound source with an easy workflow. The microphone itself is a unique tube/FET design and 1" condenser capsule that is connected to a power supply and detachable remote-control unit where users can select polar patterns but also much more.

Vienna-based microphone manufacturer LEWITT, wants to “democratize design,” asking users to take an online survey regarding its new flagship microphone. As LEWITT details, the new project will be the company’s most ambitious microphone yet - to be announced at the Winter NAMM show 2020. The use of an online tool is offering potential users (and brand fans) the chance to shape how the new microphone will sound… and to win one of their own.

Austrian microphone innovator Lewitt announced the introduction of two new affordable condenser microphones targeting project and home studios. According to the Viena-based company, the new LCT 040 MATCH and LCT 140 AIR combine the high accuracy that has made de brand recognized by recording professionals, at an affordable price for home studios worldwide. Making its worldwide debut at the 2019 NAMM Show, the LCT 040 MATCH will be available as a single pencil mic as well as a stereo pair package. In addition, the LCT 140 AIR offers versatile options for different recording situations.
