Coastal Source CUBE Speaker Reshapes Outdoor Sound Experiences

Underscoring its commitment to redefine all areas of the outdoor listening experience with truly high-end audio designs, Coastal Source announced the market introduction of CUBE, a high-quality down-firing outdoor subwoofer. As the New Jersey-based company explains, CUBE was designed to empower installers to create a truly unique three dimensional listening experience for their customers, with a design that is rugged enough to Defy the Elements.

During CEDIA 2022 (September 29 to October 1) in Dallas, TX, Origin Acoustics was one of the busiest exhibitors. Following the acquisition of Ambisonic Systems, Origin Acoustics now introduced an expanded range of loudspeakers, including architectural and landscape solutions with pro audio level specifications. It also relaunched renowned subwoofer brand Velodyne Acoustics, and expanded its partnership with Bang & Olufsen, among many other announcements.

While the industry yearns for a return to large scale trade-shows, QSC promoted an online event to introduce new products and solutions powered by Q-SYS OS. Among 15 completely new products, the Costa Mesa, CA company announced the Q-SYS NM Series NM-T1 tabletop PoE microphone, the NL Series of network PoE loudspeakers, new Q-SYS QIO Series Network I/O Expanders, and new AcousticDesign outdoor loudspeakers. To consolidate its Q-SYS ecosystem, the company also launched new scaling licenses for the Core Nano and Core 8 Flex processors.

Origin Acoustics, the architectural audio manufacturer, is now the exclusive source for Ambisonic Systems, the Arizona-based company founded in 2009 by industry pioneer Jeff Coombs, specializing in high-output, high-quality ribbon line array designs for sound reinforcement. Now, Origin is promoting the new Ambisonic LSR6 landscape speaker, which the company believes will be "the next product that is certain to shape the path of custom integration."
