Sony Reaches Out to Creators with ECM-W2BT Wireless Microphone and ECM-LV1 Compact Stereo Lavalier Microphone

Sony Electronics announced two new microphones with the launch of the ECM-W2BT Multi-interface, shoe compatible wireless microphone and ECM-LV1 compact stereo lavalier microphone. High-quality wireless audio recording with lower noise and stable connection is possible with the ECM-W2BT wireless microphone, especially when paired with the ECM-LV1 stereo lavalier microphone and one of Sony's cameras with digital compatibility.

DPA Microphones introduced the latest addition to its microphone lineup, the 4097 CORE Micro Shotgun Microphone. Featuring the same sonic qualities as the brand’s supercardioid Choir Microphone, the 4097 CORE Micro Shotgun has been optimized to pick up speech from a distance. Incorporated into the company’s new 4097 CORE Interview Kit, the mic has been designed for use with a lightweight boom and windjammer. This kit is particularly useful for journalists in today’s socially distanced world as it allows users to conduct interviews from up to two meters (6.5 feet) away. Australian pro audio giant RØDE Microphones launched the brand new SC6-L Mobile Interview Kit, the latest Lightning connected recording solution for Apple iOS Devices. While many brands, including RØDE, have offered external microphones to record in higher quality with the iPhone, and even launched lavalier microphones with clip-on accessories for interviews, the use of two simultaneous microphones still poses many challenges. The Røde SC6-L Mobile Interview Kit intends to solve that problem.
