Anchor Audio Introduces AIR Wireless Companion Speakers at InfoComm 2016

With consumers increasingly familiarized with the convenience of wireless streaming, also professional audio applications are evolving in that direction, at least for the most common applications in AV presentations and events. Anchor Audio, a portable audio specialist will be introducing the AIR Wireless Companion Speakers at InfoComm 2016, a battery powered, wire-free speaker range, designed to complement conventional powered PA solutions.

Two new models in the QSC installed loudspeaker portfolio will debut at InfoComm 2016 show, June 8-10. The new AcousticDesign Series Pendant Loudspeakers will be demonstrated at the show together with QSC’s new Q-SYS USB-to-AV Bridging solution, now featuring PTZ-IP Cameras and peripherals for corporate AV applications. The Costa Mesa company will also introduce two new SPA Series amplifiers suited for meeting room applications.

Audinate will roll out a new format for the sixth annual Dante AV Networking World education event during InfoComm 2016. The workshop will feature in-depth training with two separate tracks: one for attendees that are new to Dante, and another for more experienced Dante users. Audinate will also introduce its new two level Dante certification program at the event.

California company Point Source Audio (PSA), an audio equipment manufacturer specializing in the development of miniature microphones and headsets announced that the US Patent Office has approved its patent submission that covers its modular headset design method of integrating in-earphones into a structure. This innovative design creates a lightweight and modular audio headset that has been said to enhance hearing, and transform communications work flow for some users.

InfoComm is the most professional audio- oriented show in US, apart from being also the main event of the year for the professional AV industry. Held in Las Vegas, NV, every two years, (Orlando, FL every other year), this year’s edition promises to be a pivotal moment for the industry’s transition to IP and networking. Conferences start June 4 and exhibition runs from June 8-10, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
