Microchip Launches New Turnkey Capacitive Touch Controllers

The new ST60A3H0 and ST60A3H contactless connectivity transceivers with eUSB2, UART, GPIO or I2C tunneling address all data-transfer challenges in a cost-effective way. STMicroelectronics announced the new FDA901 class-D audio amplifier IC, a new design that incorporates the world-class audio expertise of Japanese manufacturer of car audio equipment, Alps Alpine. The new ST chip aims to contribute to the creation of multi-function, high-fidelity car audio systems that fuse the high efficiency of class-D amplifiers with the high-quality sound of ST’s class-AB amplifiers.

Diodes Incorporated announced the PI4IOE5V6416 16-bit I/O expander, which enables any digital device to be accessed and controlled over an I2C interface, across a range of input and output voltages from 1.8V to 5V, and compliant with the I2C-bus Fast and Standard modes. The PI4IOE5V6416 offers an ultra-low power solution to expanding the available GPIO on a microprocessor, microcontroller, ASSP, ASIC, or FPGA, using the ubiquitous I2C interface.
