LG Updates LG TONE Free TWS Earbuds Lineup with Spatial Processing and Enhanced Performance

LG Electronics updated its true wireless stereo offerings with the announcement of the new 2021 LG TONE Free FP series earbuds. Ideal for those who lead active lifestyles, the newest LG TONE Free models feature several enhancements, including advanced Meridian-tuned sound, powerful active noise cancellation, and hygiene-boosting UVnano charging case offered in two of the three models.

Swedish fashion tech brand Happy Plugs introduced the new Air 1 Zen true wireless earbuds to their family at an extremely competitive price point of $79.99 USD. There is nothing special about the new product, which features an extremely similar design to Apple's AirPods Pro - case and all - if it wasn't for the fact that it offers antimicrobial technology - meaning, using materials that inhibit the growth of microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, or mold.

This concept was one of LG's highlights at CES 2020 and the whole presentation looked like a bizarre development at the time. The new LG TONE Free true wireless earbuds are the first to combine an audio experience tuned by British hifi company Meridian with a unique hygiene-enhancing UVnano charging case that also kills 99.9 percent of bacteria on the part of the earbud closest to our inner ear (model HBS-FN6). The product is now available online and through LG-authorized retailers at a suggested price of $149.99.

Point Source Audio’s patented CM-i family of lightweight in-ear intercom headsets has received a design upgrade. The newly upgraded CM-i3 and CM-i5 intercom headsets boast in-earphones that can be quickly detached to clean, swap for personal IEMs or to replace for new users. The new design — brought to market earlier than initially planned in light of the current health crisis — adds factors such as detachable earbuds for improved hygiene and accessibility to more easily customize with a user’s custom in-ear monitors.
