WiSA Association to Unveil First WISA DS Soundbar at CEDIA Expo 2023

WiSA Association enters CEDIA Expo 2023 with new wireless multichannel technology designed specifically for soundbars and a growing roster of WiSA-enabled speakers, TVs and projectors from its engaged membership base. The Association’s CEDIA booth, in addition to its members’ booths throughout the show floor, will include a range of interoperable products that allow for immersive, wireless audio experiences in an instant. WiSA Certified and interoperable products from Savant, Bang & Olufsen, Dynaudio, Lithe Audio, Platin Audio, Hisense and more will highlight the adoption of WiSA’s wireless audio standard.

The Wireless Speaker and Audio (WiSA) Association, a subsidiary of WiSA Technologies, announced Buchardt Audio, an association member, has achieved WiSA Home Theater (HT) Interoperability Certification for its Anniversary 10 (A10) Active Wireless Speakers. The new speaker design celebrates the tenth anniversary of Buchardt Audio and represents the brand’s third WiSA Certified speaker line, featuring WiSA HT technology for best-in-class wireless multichannel audio capabilities.

WiSA Association announced that its member company Mesanovic has earned the WiSA HT Interoperability Certification with its new CDM65 Controlled Directivity Monitor speaker. The CDM65 is an active three-way state-of-the-art speaker design, with built-in digital signal processing and the ability to receive wireless audio from any WiSA transmitter, like the WiSA SoundSend. This allows the CDM65 to be paired up to a 7.1 setup. The system will ship in May 2023 and is available for pre-order.

Using the 5GHz portion of the Wi-Fi band, WiSA E offers high-performance, high-quality wireless audio transmission and reception at an affordable price.

WiSA Technologies has launched a new app enabling users of WiSA-enabled devices full control of their multichannel audio experience. The app is designed to work with any source device that uses WiSA HT, or the new WiSA E embedded software solution, including smart TVs, soundbars, and external transmitters such as the WiSA SoundSend. The app was presented to CEDIA Expo 2022 visitors and its initial launch opens new full control possibilities.
