Cyrus Audio to Join the BluOS High-Resolution Multi-room Audio Ecosystem

Cyrus Audio, a British brand of home audio electronics and Lenbrook International, the owner and developer of high-resolution multi-room platform BluOS, announced a global partnership to bring the BluOS streaming platform into upcoming Cyrus Audio products. The company plans to expand support for BluOS in future audio components, benefiting from the systems interoperability among enabled devices across brands and superior integrations with popular streaming music services like Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify, and Deezer.

Qobuz, the Paris-based online music streaming and download music service, has been named the Official High-Resolution Streaming Service for the upcoming 15th Annual Rocky Mountain International Audio Fest (RMAF), the largest high-end consumer audio show in North America. Preparing for its scheduled launch in the North American market, Qobuz also announced key appointments in its US operations, including naming music industry veteran Dan Mackta as Managing Director USA.

Prominent provider of voice-enabled controllers and music connectivity ICs, XMOS Ltd., has announced the appointment of Mark Lippett as President and Chief Executive Officer. Lippett, a 10-year veteran of XMOS, previously held VP Engineering and COO roles within the business. Prior to XMOS, he served as CTO of Ignios, and held engineering and marketing roles at Texas Instruments, Lucent and Madge Networks. Outgoing CEO, Nigel Toon, has assumed the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors.
