New NAD Masters Series M32 Direct Digital Amplifier and M50.2 Digital Music Player

For NAD Electronics, the 2016 High End show, in Munich, Germany was all about the excitement of high-performance and high resolution audio. Complementing the five existing Master Series components, NAD announced two new additions, the M32 Direct Digital Amplifier and M50.2 Digital Music Player, both running the brand’s dedicated BluOS operating system with support for popular music services and High Resolution Audio.

Following the recent announcement by Meridian Audio of a firmware update enabling MQA playback in its own range of products, Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) is now also playable directly on the Pioneer XDP-100R and Onkyo DP-X1 portable devices. MQA-encoded music content is finally available for first adopters to download and hear on their own devices.

Naim’s Mu-so wireless music system now adds TIDAL and full multiroom capability to its already rich list of features. The multi-room mode works over a standard home network, either via a wired or Wi-Fi connection. A free, three month TIDAL trial is now available through the Naim control app for all Mu-so owners and owners of Naim streaming products.

North America’s premier headphone audio event is coming to the UK for the first time this summer. CanJam London 2015, the first of Head-Fi’s official CanJam events to be held in Europe, will take place on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August 2015, bringing together the world’s best names in high-quality headphone design.

Amarra for TIDAL is the ultimate music playback solution for streaming audio, and will be available from the Sonic Studio web site for US$39.95, while the free Amarra Remote app will be available from the iTunes Music Store. The new player was developed in conjunction with TIDAL’s engineers.
