GRAS Sound & Vibration introduced a new microphone that can acquire good data in any sound field and, at 24 dB(A), has the lowest noise floor of any 1/4" measurement microphone. The new GRAS 46BC measurement microphone is a true multifield microphone for use in pressure, free-field, or random-incidence environments or any scenarios where the sound field is ill-defined or changing - ideal for automotive in-cabin and NVH testing.

GRAS Sound & Vibration announced a new miniature production line microphone, which is the first with the recently announced GRAS EQset technology designed to reduce the risk of measurement errors. The new EQ 40PM EQset, a short 20kHz pressure microphone with a dynamic range from 30dB (A) to 120dB, and the same dimensions as traditional Production Line microphones, is aimed at increasing efficiency and improving test accuracy in the consumer audio and telecom space.

GRAS introduced a new technology aimed at increasing efficiency and improving test accuracy in the consumer audio and telecom space. The new GRAS EQset Microphone technology is a new advancement that guarantees fixed sensitivity and a flat response curve across all frequencies in every EQset-enabled microphone. Essentially the new EQset technology introduces an equalized microphone, with a flat response curve and uniform fixed gain out of the box, vastly reducing the risk of measurement errors.

GRAS Sound & Vibration announced that its line of production line tools for high-frequency measurements now includes the only 0.4cc couplers that follow the most recent IEC standards, offering a cost-efficient validation tool in the frequency range up to 16 kHz that adheres to standards. The latest IEC standard 60318-8:2022 describes an acoustic coupler for loading a hearing aid or insert earphone with a specified acoustic impedance when testing its acoustic performance, in the frequency range up to 16 kHz.
