Apple Delivers on the Promise of Ultimate Mobile Studio with Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for iPad

Apple unveiled new subscription options for its professional editing tools Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for iPad. Finally delivering on the promise of exploring the mobile, touchscreen interface of the iPad, the new software options are now clear demonstration of the power of these mobile tablet devices equipped with Apple's latest silicon processors. For audio recording and editing in the field, Logic Pro for iPad introduces a completely new paradigm.

Apogee announced the release of MetaRecorder Version 2.0, the first two-channel 24-bit/96kHz audio recording app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch to offer intuitive multi-take recording, tagging and file organization for any field recording scenario. Version 2.0 adds support for the new UltraSync BLUE module by Timecode Systems with an in-app purchase along with updated compatibility with new Apogee products like Jam+ and MiC+.

As promised - and long overdue - Apple released its new iMac Pro, an entirely new product line designed for pro users, combining the all-in-one familiar design of the iMac with workstation-class performance and upgradability. With the latest Xeon processors with up to 18 cores, which Intel announced only in Mar 2017, the new computers provide up to 22 Teraflops of graphics performance, and support up to 128GB of DDR4 RAM.
