PRO SoundTools Software for Advanced Audio Calibration

Audio calibration is often the most complex part of a home theater installation. Pro Audio Technology’s new PRO SoundTools companion software suite simplifies even the most complicated audio calibration process when used in combination with the brand’s DMA and PMA Amplifier/Processors.

Nugen Audio announced the launch of SEQ-S, a linear-phase equalizer (EQ) software tool, ideal for music production and mastering as well as film and post-production applications. With support up to 7.1 surround, SEQ-S provides sonic sculpting and precision EQ matching as well as corrective applications.

Daniel Weiss founded Weiss Engineering in 1985. The company designs and manufactures digital audio equipment for mastering studios. Daniel graduated in 1979 with a BSEE from the HTL Rapperswil. Joined the Studer Revox company in 1979 as an Electronics Engineer. There he worked on analog anti-aliasing filters, test signal generators, sampling frequency converters and digital audio processing for a two channel DASH recorder. He left Studer in 1984 to start Weiss Engineering. Daniel is a Fellow of the AES and a Member of the IEEE.
