Keysight Introduces Smart Bench Essentials Connected Instruments

Keysight Technologies, the electronics test and measurement company that was spun off from Agilent in 2014, has launched a new portfolio of Smart Bench Essentials (SBE) lab bench instruments. These new solutions are targeted at remote access labs and teaching institutions that require a unified, powerful graphical interface with integrated data management and analysis, that can be configured, controlled, and monitored from a single screen, also allowing sharing instruments and data remotely with peers.

Test and measurement accessories specialist, Cal Test introduced three new unique BNC to banana jack attenuating adapters, bridging oscilloscope functionality with DMM test lead durability. What is unique is that in addition to being fully insulated BNC male to 4 mm sheathed banana jack adapters, they are attenuating adapters providing 1,000V CAT II and 600V CAT III protection. Providing a 1MΩ impedance and accepting 4mm sheathed banana plugs, the adapters allow for work in higher voltages and CAT environments such as electrical panel mains.

Adapting its solutions to the needs of users during the pandemic, Tektronix launched a new feature to its TekScope waveform analysis PC software, allowing remote users to view and analyze data from up to 32 channels from multiple scopes at the same time, in the same interface, accelerating analysis efficiency. And Tektronix announced a new initiative for university engineering education, offering easy-to-use equipment and complementary software for educators, students and research labs.

Tektronix announced the availability of a native integration between the Keithley DAQ6510 data acquisition and logging, multimeter system and the DMM6500, a digital multimeter with a graphical touchscreen, with Initial State, an loT dashboard for data streaming and visualization for world-class, remote data access. This new integration provides users with vital, easy-to-use functionality, such as remote monitoring, triggering, streaming and data sharing.

Tektronix introduced the Keithley DMM6510 6½-digit Bench/System Digital Multimeter and DAQ6510 Data Acquisition and Logging Multimeter System. These new instruments combine the simplicity of a "pinch and zoom" touchscreen interface for easy and faster test setup and at-a-glance monitoring and display with the power of 15 different measurement functions, wide measurement ranges, multichannel measurements, and class-leading accuracy and sensitivity.

Keysight’s next-generation 34465A 6½ and 7½ 34470A digit performance Truevolt Series digital multimeters (DMMs) are the latest additions to the Truevolt Series. Both models offer three acquisition modes: continuous running for typical measurements, data logging for easier trend analysis, and digitizing for capturing transients. Both models offer higher-performance, speed, accuracy and more memory.
