The new Dayton Audio IO65XT 6-1/2" IP65 speakers, together with the new IOSUB 10" IP66 subwoofer are a perfect proposition for increasing audio fidelity outdoors on both commercial and residential installs. The IO65XT weather-resistant speakers are available in black or white finishes, with both 70/100V taps and 8-ohm bypass, adding a passive radiator to extend the low-end response. The strategic acquisition follows the expansion strategy defined by Rashid Skaf, Biamp's President and CEO, appointed by Highlander Partners, a private investment firm which acquired Biamp in November 2017.

Work Pro Widens SoundNut Pendant Speaker Range

AV equipment manufacturer Work Pro Audio is expanding the popular SoundNut range of pendant speakers for installed sound applications. After a preview at the ISE 2019 show, the Spanish company launched four more SoundNut models to complete the range: the SN-3, SN-6, SN-10, which feature three-, six- and 10-inch drivers respectively, and the SN-8SUB, an eight-inch subwoofer for low-frequency enhancement. All use the same basic design concept as the original SN-8 introduced in 2018.
