A New Turntable from McIntosh and It's Not That Expensive

McIntosh has unveiled a new turntable that brings its famous McIntosh sound and build quality at a new "low price" point. The new MT2 was announced with a suggested retail price of $4,000, which his significantly less than the brand's flagship MT5 ($8,000) and MT10 ($6,000). Of course you don't get the glowing green plate, but according to the company, you get the latest turntable technology with the New York giant’s legendary aesthetic, design and build quality.

TEAC just announced the release of its colorful, 1960s-flavored psychedelic, new TN-420 turntable. Devoted vinyl collectors and anyone in need of a new turntable to celebrate the vinyl revival, will appreciate the TN-420's bright, tie-dyed hydrographic finish, which the company says "is enough to put you on a natural high." But there's more to the TN-420 than just the looks. TEAC says this is really a top-quality, belt-drive turntable.

TEAC designed a very nice looking turntable, ideal for those that still have vinyl they would like to play for that nostalgic click and crackle and needle jumping experiences we all remember so fondly… The new TEAC TN-300 has Phono and Line output, to play vinyl with or without the integrated MM-type cartridge phono equalizer amplifier, plus USB output to transfer music from vinyl records, “preserving the classic sound of analog.”
