AuviTran Integrates Merging’s ZMAN AoIP Module Into New Interface Card

France-based audio manufacturer AuviTran has adopted Merging Technologies’ ZMAN audio networking module into its brand-new AxC-AES67 interface card, part of its flagship Audio ToolBox Suite. Bringing low-latency and bridging capacities to high performance applications, the AxC-AES67 interface card is fully compatible with AES67 and Ravenna protocols, and supports industry standard SMPTE2110, ST2022-7 Seamless Protection Switching and NMOS IS-04 + IS-05.

The French audio network specialist and equipment manufacturer AuviTran celebrated its 20th anniversary during the JTSE (Journées Techniques du Spectacle et de l'Événement) show held in Paris, November 29-30, 2023. Recently acquired by Digigram, the celebration was a perfect occasion for the AuviTran team to gather long-time partners, clients and integrators, and raise their glasses to 20 years of bridging technological gaps in the audio industry and to future endeavors.

Digigram, the recognized provider of Audio over IP solutions has acquired Grenoble-based audio networking solutions specialist AuviTran. The French company aims to strengthen its position and expand its operations on audio markets with the direct involvement of Yves Ansade, founder and Managing Director of AuviTran, which historically has been deeply involved in the company's strategic R&D. In his early days at Digigram, Ansade initiated the Networked Audio Department and contributed, as an inventor, to the development of EtherSound.

Point Source Audio (PSA) and French audio over IP network specialist AuviTran, announced their official partnership to distribute AuviTran products throughout North America. In this agreement, Point Source Audio — a manufacturer of miniature microphones and headsets — will tap its sales and support team to bring AuviTran solutions to proaudio and broadcast markets, which they believe simplify AV/IP networking convergence.
