TuneIn Unveils New Audio Brand Identity for a Voice Activated World

TuneIn, the live global streaming and on-demand audio service, unveiled its new sonic logo in a branding effort to deepen listeners’ connection to its voice assistant-powered entertainment. TuneIn also revealed 56% year-over-year growth in global listening consumption for connected devices as consumers increasingly put their smart speakers and other voice-enabled devices to use and opt for an eyes and hands-free screenless audio streaming experience.

Following approval by the European Commission earlier in February 2019, EQT funds, owners of Sivantos Pte. Ltd. (“Sivantos”), and the Tøpholm and Westermann families, owners of Widex A/S (“Widex”), announced the successful completion of the business combination between Sivantos and Widex. The newly created company will operate under the name WS Audiology and be headquartered in Lynge, Denmark and Singapore.
