Yamaha Introduces Eight Wireless Headphones with Adaptive Technologies to Optimize Sound

Yamaha unveiled an extensive new line of wireless headphones and earbuds that intelligently adapt and respond to listeners and their environment. In total, Yamaha released 8 new designs across its portfolio, relying on Qualcomm's audio platforms and technologies to create an impressive lineup with advanced audio features and multiple form factors, with options at many price points. The lineup includes truly wireless earbuds with ANC, two models based on the advanced Qualcomm QCC5124 SoC with aptX Adaptive technology.

Celebrating 95 years of heritage in sound, design and craft excellence, the high end luxury Danish consumer electronics brand announced Beoplay H95, a new upscale take on the most sought-after technology ever in headphones: Active Noise Cancellation. But Bang & Olufsen went one step further and crafted the ultimate listening experience with two customized titanium drivers, a proprietary DSP engine, and long lasting comfort and effective Adaptive ANC.

Qualcomm Technologies, launched a flagship portfolio of mobile connectivity systems that represent the most advanced Wi-Fi 6E offerings of their kind. Building upon the company's existing Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth audio solutions, the new Qualcomm FastConnect 6900 and Qualcomm FastConnect 6700 systems feature the fastest available Wi-Fi speeds in the industry (up to 3.6 Gbps) on a mobile Wi-Fi offering, low latency and the latest Bluetooth 5.2 advancements delivering improved audio experiences for classic and emerging LE Audio use cases.

Drop, the company formerly know as Massdrop, now also a product design company targeting enthusiasts, announced its first premium wireless headphones, engineered in collaboration with THX. Combining the acclaimed THX AAA linear amplifier with a planar ribbon driver already tested and proven by Drop, the Drop + THX Panda headphones are able to offer 30+ hours of battery life, and where demonstrated at CES 2020, before being made available in the community-driven commerce platform.
