New Cloudlifter X Offers Even More Gain and More Options to More Microphones

Cloud Microphones, the Tucson, AZ maker of the original Cloudlifter has unveiled a new model in the family. The brand new Cloudlifter X offers a custom-designed Cinemag transformer along with two selectable output levels that expand the possibilities offered by the industry standard CL-1, which provides up to +25dB of of output gain. Compatible with condenser, dynamic and ribbon microphones, the new CL-X is a welcome addition to the popular Cloudlifter range.

Audix is executing the most ambitious product catalog expansion in its history. The Wilsonville, OR-based company announced its latest large-diaphragm studio vocal microphone, the A231, which is set to establish a new standard for capturing the human voice. Sporting the distinctive gold-plated brass band made famous on the its renowned SCX25A instrument microphone, the new A231 was designed to open up new creative possibilities in the realm of lead and backing vocals, spoken word and voiceover applications, as well as acoustic instrument miking.
