REDIacoustics Premiers Affordable AI-Powered Acoustic Design Package

Acoustic research and software development firm REDIacoustics introduced a new, affordable acoustic design and optimization solution for rectangular spaces during CEDIA Expo 2024. Created with home theater and listening room designers in mind, and perfectly suited for AV integrators, the new ROCS (Room Optimization for Cuboid Spaces) service offers an affordable predictive acoustic analysis tool, providing basic room geometric optimizing and speaker / listener position guidelines for rectangular spaces.

Goertek has unveiled a new earbud reference design to help manufacturers looking to implement Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound technology speed their time to market. Powered by the Qualcomm QCC5141 Bluetooth Audio SoC, the Rox reference design is optimized for use in TWS earbuds and hearables and is designed to deliver high-resolution music, crystal-clear voice calls, and lag-free gaming — with superior connectivity and extended battery life.

Loudspeaker and audio systems manufacturer MISCO has acquired Warkwyn Associates, an independent acoustic design, measurement, and testing lab. MISCO president Dan Digre says that Warkwyn will continue to provide its same high level of services for current Warkwyn customers. Warkwyn has relocated from Pakenham, Ontario to MISCO’s home base of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
