Snap One Launches Triad PDX Installation Speaker Series

Snap One announced the launch of the Triad PDX Series of architectural speakers. The new series is intended to provide integrators with a solution that pairs the premium audio performance that Triad is known for with a simplified installation experience made possible by Push Lock by Swarm technology. These will also be the first Triad speakers launched into local stores and made available globally.

As announced in May 2019, SnapAV, a leading provider of A/V, surveillance, networking and remote management products for professionals, and Control4 Corporation, the smart home solutions company, announced the successful completion of their merger. Unified into a single organization, Control4 becomes a professional smart home brand in the SnapAV portfolio. The combined company promises to expand investments in solutions and services for technology professionals.

At CEDIA 2017, Control4 Launched its new Triad Multi-Room Audio Line, bringing high-resolution multi-room audio to the home. The new range includes the Triad AMS-24 and AMS-8 Audio Matrix Switches, Triad 8-Zone Power Amplifier, and Triad One Streaming Amplifier, which can be coupled with Triad’s comprehensive range of build-to-order premium speakers for home theaters, family rooms, whole-home or multi-room audio, and outdoor environments.

Following its acquisition of Triad Speakers in February 2017, Control4 now launched the new Triad Designer Series, featuring unobtrusive in-ceiling speakers and a subwoofer that deliver rich, full sound from a tiny four-inch, flush-mount speaker grill. Continuing the company tradition of invisible speakers for traditional in-ceiling speakers, the new Triad Designer Series combines high-performance sound and elegant home design.

Control4 announced the first addition to the Triad line since the acquisition of Triad Speakers. The new Triad Garden Array outdoor speaker system, includes premium weatherproof landscape speakers and a subwoofer and intends to provide the same high-quality entertainment experience in the backyard as it exists in the living room. The GA4 SAT satellite speakers can uniquely scale in number and feature Triad-exclusive Ultra-Broad Dispersion (UBD) drivers providing 150-degrees of uniform sound coverage.

Control4 Corporation announced the acquisition of Larry Pexton’s company, Triad Speakers, Inc., known for its advanced audio technology and customizable speaker-solutions. Direct competitors to Control4 have all recently introduced their own installation-oriented speaker lines. The acquisition of Triad is a strategic addition that immediately brings industry-leading acoustics expertise to Control4 and adds a full line of premium audio-speaker solutions to its product portfolio.

Custom made-in-the-USA manufacturer Triad Speakers, showed its new Dolby Atmos-enabled loudspeaker at the ISE 2015 show, in Amsterdam. The Bronze LR-H loudspeaker, developed for Dolby Atmos was joined by a new InRoom and OnWall Bronze SlimSub series and new R-Series of cost-effective, but aesthetically-pleasing in-ceiling loudspeakers.
