Voyage Audio Introduces Spatial Record iOS and Desktop App

San Diego-based Voyage Audio launched its Spatial Record app for users of the Voyage Audio Spatial Mic immersive microphone. The app for iOS, macOS and Windows provides a seamless method to record and preview multichannel audio files to devices like iPhones, iPads and laptops. Available now, the Spatial Record app is a simplified solution for multichannel audio and can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store and the Voyage Audio website.

Voyage Audio, the creators of the original Spatial Mic USB have announced Spatial Mic Dante, a hybrid analog-digital 2nd order ambisonic microphone featuring improved control, versatility and quality. According to the San Diego-based company, Spatial Mic Dante captures the entire soundfield with 8 capsules, while providing output flexibility for critical recording and live broadcast combining built-in Dante audio networking and remote configuration with Power Over Ethernet (PoE).

Røde Microphones is now shipping its SoundField by Røde NT-SF1 360° Surround Ambisonic Microphone – first announced at NAB 2018. Now available internationally, the first product manufactured in Australia by Røde since the acquisition of SoundField by the Freedman Electronics Group in November of 2016 is not only technically improved but it is also much more affordable than any other professional Ambisonics capture solution available until now.
