Moog Releases Werkstatt-01 Analog Synth Kit With Online Modification and Creative Learning Portal

Moog announced a worldwide release of the compact semi-modular Werkstatt analogue synthesizer kit, produced originally for workshops at the Moogfest 2014 festival. Previously only released in the US, Werkstatt is affordable, requires no soldering to build, and is a fat sounding Moog analogue synth.

Billed as the “Synthesis of Technology, Art and Music,” Moogfest is a fabulously quirky celebration of electronic music, geekiness and the legacy of synthesizer legend, Bob Moog. For the first time, two DirectOut MADI systems were used for the live recording of two of the main festival venues.
