In its August 2020 edition, Voice Coil featured an article by experienced speaker designer Igor Levitsky, highly recognized in the industry for developing some of the best planar magnetic speaker and headphone drivers for some of the most reputed brands, focusing precisely on this type of technology. It seems clear that we will see more and more headphones and speakers using thin-film drivers, as the industry is now perfecting the use of different types of diaphragms and materials. AXPONA (Audio Expo North America) 2019 took place April 12-14 at The Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center and Hotel. THE Home Entertainment Show has announced sweeping changes for T.H.E. Show Newport. T.H.E. Show Newport will now be held at The Hotel Irvine in Irvine, California, Friday-Sunday, May 29-31, 2015. T.H.E. Show Las Vegas, usually scheduled for January will be put on hiatus after 16 years. The promoters explain “all of T.H.E. Show’s resources and time will be spent making 2015 a game-changer and spectacular event.”
