Genelec Unveils UNIO Audio Monitoring Platform and 9320A Reference Controller at IBC 2023

Genelec has chosen the IBC 2023 exhibition in Amsterdam to unveil the 9320A Reference Controller as a bridge to its brand new UNIO Audio Monitoring Service Platform. UNIO brings together all the benefits of Genelec Smart Active Monitors, GLM 5.0 calibration software and Aural ID 2.0 technology to create seamless integration between professional in-room loudspeaker and headphone monitoring services.

Genelec is marking the 15th anniversary of its highly praised GLM loudspeaker manager software with the introduction of GLM 4.1, which is compatible with all Genelec Smart Active Monitors and Subwoofers. The GLM 4.1 update offers significant new features and improvements, thanks to the debut of the next-generation AutoCal 2 automatic room calibration algorithm, which delivers a more precise frequency response in a fraction of the time than was previously possible.

Gradually, Genelec has updated his monitor series with Smart Active Monitoring (SAM) auto-calibrating systems. Along with the advanced concept recently introduced in the new 8351 Acoustically Coaxial Smart Active Monitor, at the recent 137th AES convention, Genelec also introduced the new 8320 and 8330 compact monitors and a SAM subwoofer, 7350.
