Waves MultiRack Audio Processing Plugins Power the KN-DSP100 Kramer Network Server

Digital signal processing solutions specialist Waves Audio has integrated Waves MultiRack and Waves plugins in the KN-DSP100 Kramer Network Server from Kramer Electronics. Waves MultiRack is a software host used by FOH and monitor engineers to run multiple simultaneous instances of the same award-winning audio processing plugins used in recording studios and mixing rooms the world over. KN−DSP100 is a 19” 1U server with pre−installed Kramer Network Enterprise Management Platform and added DSP functionality.

Kramer Electronics has announced the acquisition of iRule, LLC, creator of cloud-based control and automation software for commercial and residential markets. In 2014, Kramer announced a partnership with iRule to deliver its Kramer Control automation technology. This acquisition will enable Kramer to leverage the highly customizable iRule software platform to best address a growing demand for advanced control and automation solutions.

Kramer Electronics announced the appointment of Steve Biegacki as new CEO for its US sales office, effective May 1st. Biegacki, a seasoned global AV industry sales and marketing executive with a strong technology background, replaces Dave Bright, who announced his retirement in August of last year. Mr. Bright will stay on as acting Chairman of the Board until his actual retirement at the end of 2016.

Kramer Electronics released its new VS-211HA, a high−performance automatic standby switcher for HDMI video and unbalanced stereo audio signals. The VS−211HA can be used as a manual 2x1 switcher or as an automatic switcher and it either uses a priority input or last connected input. An ideal solution for backup switching, meeting rooms, restaurants and entertainment venues.

Kramer Electronics has expanded its end-to-end audio solutions with four new families of speakers. The new Galil, Yarden, Tavor and Dolev speaker series were shown at the ISE 2014 Show in Amsterdam and introduced at InfoComm 2014 and reinforce the company’s position as a major global player in the audio arena.

Kramer Electronics and Audinate have announced that Kramer has become the 150th Dante manufacturer to license Audinate’s Dante networking solution. Kramer explains the decision was taken after evaluating all other audio over IP networking technologies and finding that Dante was “the most requested audio networking technology in the market.”
