Klipsch Celebrates 75th Anniversary With Commemorative Klipschorn Speakers

Expanding the celebrations of the brand's 75th anniversary, Klipsch released a limited run of 75 pairs of the legendary Klipschorn. The 75th Anniversary Klipschorn AK6, featuring a 1" titanium tweeter and 90° x 40° Tractrix horn with fully enclosed low-frequency cabinet, includes a commemorative box filled with Klipsch 75th anniversary commemorative items. The limited edition speakers are available in unique real wood teak veneers and lambswool grilles, with a sterling silver 75th logo on the front of the speaker.

The Klipsch Museum of Audio History is officially open since July 2017. Jim Hunter, who was Paul Klipsch’s number one engineer for many years, as well as the former Engineering Manager, and Manager of Engineering Operations at Klipsch, was tasked by the company to form the Klipsch Heritage Museum Association, Inc, upon recently retiring back to Hope, Arkansas. The Klipsch Museum of Audio History contains milestone Klipsch products, test equipment, audio source components, and even some early manufacturing equipment.

Klipsch Audio, a VOXX International Company, is commemorating its 70th anniversary by issuing limited runs of its Klipschorn and Heresy Heritage series speakers. Special attention has been paid to the details of each new speaker, as they features design enhancements, exotic wood veneer finishes, special edition logos and unique grille cloths.
